Emergency Care

24/7 Availability

We are equipped to handle a wide range of emergency situations in-house. In view of the time-sensitive nature, we will assess your pet right away and if deemed unstable, they will be tended to immediately.  

 

When to Bring Your Pet in for Emergency Care

If you suspect your cat or dog may be facing a life-threatening injury or illness, we encourage you to bring them in immediately.

 

The following symptoms always warrant immediate attention:

  • Trauma

  • Seizures

  • Respiratory distress

  • GDV (bloated stomach & vomiting)

  • Collapse or loss of consciousness

  • Exposure to poisons / toxins

  • Profuse vomiting / diarrhea

  • Refusal to eat or drink for 24+ hours

Home visits can be arranged if your pet is unable to travel to

our surgery.
